Adventures of a Mouseketeer
My new print series is titled Adventures of a Mouseketeer and is based on Memoirs of a Beast, an installation created with mixed media and collage on my grade school diary. Many of the prints are closely related to the original diary pages from Memoirs, while in others, I scavenge and recombine existing elements and create new ones through the process of collage.
The intent of Adventures of a Mouseketeer is to revisit the intensity of adolescence portrayed so eloquently in Memoirs, and to make the "adventures" of our young heroine available to a wider audience through the medium of printmaking.
Each print comes in an edition of thirty and is printed on acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper. The paper size is 10 x 8 inches and the image size is approximately 6.5 x 5 inches.
